Reporting Your Child's Absence

To report your child's absence due to illness, please phone the school office on 01206 210415 between 8.30 and 9.20am each day of the absence - the daily calls are in order to ensure everyone's wellbeing.

If you are unable to call us, we will call you and, in the event that we cannot get through to you, will call your emergency contacts.  If we cannot get through to anyone, we may make a home visit to check everything is OK.

Alternatively, you can email the school office, including your child's name and reason for absence.

If your child is off school for longer than 3 days for any one period of illness, we would expect medical evidence of illness, such as a signed and dated appointment card from your GP.  For long period of absences, we will normally ask you to complete a Reason for Absence form on School Ping for our records.
